Der Lyriker Rolf Schilling im Kontext der ‚Neuen Rechten‘
Der 1950 geborene, einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit kaum bekannte Lyriker und Essayist Rolf Schilling genießt in der literaturaffinen ‚Neuen Rechten‘ hohes Ansehen und kooperiert eng mit einschlägigen publizistischen Akteuren. In seinem Revitalisierungsversuch eines ‚ästhetischen Fundamentalismus‘ erkennt die ‚neurechte‘ „Erzählgemeinschaft“ (Felix Schilk) – wie eine Rekonstruktion der Rezeption und des Netzwerks Schillings von den frühen 1990er Jahren bis zur unmittelbaren Gegenwart zeigt – prädestinierte Erzähl- und Identifikationsangebote.
Born in 1950, the poet and essayist Rolf Schilling, who is hardly known to the public at large, enjoys a high reputation among those of the ‘New Right’ with a love of literature and cooperates closely with relevant figures in journalism. In his attempt to revitalize ‘aesthetic fundamentalism’, the ‘New Right’ “narrative community” (Felix Schilk) recognizes predestined narratives and opportunities for identification, as is shown by a reconstruction of Schilling’s reception and network from the early 1990s to the present day.
